PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating device with which dissipation power can be reduced when eliminating skid marks by applying induction heating to steel heated with an atmosphere furnace. SOLUTION: This device is an induction heating device 200 for heating the steel to be rolled which is installed in the latter stage of a walking beam furnace and in the preceding stage of a rolling apparatus and which has a plurality of induction heating coils 210 (210a-210f) which are arranged matching to the interval between beams for supporting bar materials 10 in the walking beam furnace and a conveying means 250 for stopping the bar materials 10 by matching the skid marks 20 of the bar material 10 to the arranged positions of the induction heating coils 210.
