PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment machine provided with a structure by which the maintenance of a filter for maintaining the deodorization efficiency of a deodorization unit can be safely and simply performed. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment machine is a dry-type machine, by which garbage within a treatment bath is dried with hot air. An exhaust opening for hot air blown within the treatment bath is provided on the internal face of a cover for closing the upper face of the treatment bath. A catalytic deodorization unit is arranged on the upstream side from an opening on the tip of an exhaust path for exhausting the exhaust air introduced from the exhaust opening to the outside. Furthermore, a front filter for the deodorization unit is installed on the upstream side of the catalytic deodorization unit in order to prevent dust from entering the deodorization unit. An opening and closing cover is installed on an application slot for the filter in order for the maintenance of the front filter for the deodorization unit.
