[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A tissue for household use containing a polyester compound represented by the general formula (1): wherein R1 is HO- or HO(R2O)a- and R2 is C2-3 alkylene; (R2O)amay be composed of one kind of R2O units or two kinds of R2O units which are added at random or in block; a is 1 to 200, and a's in one molecule may be the same or different; b is 2 to 100; and R3 is hydrogen or the like.
