A display device has dividing means for dividing and generating display data for display in display means as plural N serial signals; means for multiplying each of said serial signals by a different code; synthesizing means for synthesizing an output signal of said multiplying means to serial signals smaller than said N in number; restoring means for receiving an output signal of said synthesizing means and calculating the correlation with said code and restoring said display data; wherein said display means is operated on the basis of a signal restored by said restoring means.
