SDR TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND THE METHOD OF GATHERING OPERATING INFORMATION THEREOF

A multi-mode communication device and a method for collecting operation information of the same are provided to provide remarkable compatibility between hardware and software of a communication device by applying an SCA(Software Communication Architecture)-based application system to an ATCA(Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture) system-based communication device. A hardware management unit(120) stores IPMB(Intelligent Platform Management Bus) addresses of multiple ATCA boards, and collects hardware operation information received from each IPMB address. A controller(110) loads each different software into the multiple ATCA boards, collects operation information of the software which has been loaded into each ATCA board, stores them such that they are mapped with the hardware operation information received from the hardware management unit(120), and generates an alarm message when a failure occurs.
