An MB-MM mobile terminal and a method for connecting an origination call of the MB-MM mobile terminal are provided to remove the user inconvenience of manipulating buttons in order to connect an origination call in a boundary area. When an abnormal connection with respect to multiple access attempt signals for an origination connection is continuously made by the n number of times, a master modem(210) performing communication with the first mobile communication network(270) instructs a slave modem(220) to perform origination connection to the second mobile communication network(280). In this case, the abnormal connection refers to receiving of a NO ACK signal or a NACK signal from the first mobile communication network.
