A paste composition and a green sheet for a barrier rib of a plasma display panel and a plasma display panel using the same are provided to suppress environmental pollution by using smokeless glass powders without lead oxide. A paste composition for a barrier rib of a plasma display panel includes smokeless glass powders of 30 to 60 weight percent, a filling agent of 1 to 10 weight percent, a bonding agent of 10 to 30 weight, a plasticizer of 1 to 8 weight percent, a dispersing agent of 0.1 to 3 weight percent, and a solvent of 15 to 35 weight percent. The paste composition further includes an antifoaming-agent of 0 to 2 weight percent and a leveling agent of 0 to 2 weight percent.
