ABS RESIN COMPOSITION AND METAL PLATING METHOD FOR ABS RESIN

Provided are an ABS resin composition which shows an excellent appearance after plating without the deterioration of matter property such as impact resistance, and a method for plating an ABS resin prepared from the composition. The ABS resin composition comprises (A) 25-45 parts by weight of a graft copolymer prepared by graft-polymerizing a styrene-butadiene rubbery polymer, a cyanovinyl compound and an aromatic vinyl compound; (B) 55-75 parts by weight of a copolymer prepared from a cyanovinyl compound and an aromatic vinyl compound; and (C) 0.1-1 parts by weight of a silicone-based impact modifier based on 100 parts by weight of (A)+(B). The plating method comprises the steps of etching the ABS resin prepared from the composition with an oxidative etchant; and plating the ABS resin.
