The method involves detecting the level of a lacquer container during the flexographic pressing process or rubberizing process of the sheet press machine (10), and detecting the number of press works during the pressing process. The amount of used lacquer and completed flexographic press works is determined from the detected level of the lacquer container and detected number of press works.
