METHOD AND SYSTEM OF INITIALIZING A PERSONAL INFORMATION USING SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE

A personal information initialization method using a short message and a system thereof are provided to safely and effectively initialize important information of a person stored in a lost terminal, and to keep and manage the important information in a terminal multimedia storage server, thereby solving information keeping problems in accordance with personal information initialization. A terminal multimedia storage server(230) transmits an initialization start control request signal of a terminal(200) to an SMS(Short Message Service) server(220). The SMS server generates a terminal initialization start control short message based on the request signal, and sends the message to the terminal. The terminal drives a multimedia transmission VM(Virtual Machine) according to the short message, and transmits a terminal initialization start request signal to the storage server. The storage server receives the request signal to send an equivalent ACK signal to the terminal, and the terminal initializes personal information.
