A plasma display panel is provided to improve color temperature according to an increase of a luminance rate in a blue discharge cell by forming differently sizes of grooves corresponding to red, green, and blue discharge cells. A first substrate(111) and a second substrate(121) face each other. A plurality of barrier ribs(130) are disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate in order to define a plurality of red, green, and blue discharge cells. Plural pairs of sustain electrodes(112) are disposed apart from each other on the second substrate facing the first substrate and include X and Y electrodes(131,132). A first dielectric layer(115) is formed to cover the pairs of sustain electrodes. The first dielectric layer has at least two grooves(145,146) corresponding to each of the discharge cells. A gap between the grooves is maintained constantly. The grooves corresponding to the red and green discharge cells are smaller than the groove corresponding to the blue discharge cell.
