A steamed dish cooking vessel of a microwave oven is provided to dry-cook food stuffs by using a hot wire passing through a shielding plate arranged on a lid of the steamed dish cooking vessel. A steamed dish cooking vessel(20) of a microwave oven includes a tray(40), a heater plate(41), a sealing plate(31), and a shielding plate(32). The tray is accommodated in the cavity of the microwave oven, and contains water therein. The heater plate is attached onto a bottom surface of the tray, and generates heats by absorbing high frequency waves oscillated from the microwave oven. The sealing plate covers the tray and contains steam generated from the tray. The heat ray generated from a heater of the microwave oven penetrates through the sealing plate. The shielding plate is attached to an inner surface of the sealing plate, and cuts off the high frequency waves oscillated from the microwave oven. The shielding plate has a plurality of holes(33) for passing the heat ray emitted from the heater.
