<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run channel made of an elastomer hardly generating a positional shift over a long period even under an environment high in temperature variation, and a glass run channel assembly including the same. <P>SOLUTION: This glass run channel 14 for a vehicle formed mainly of the elastomer has a long body part 20 attached to a window frame of the vehicle to form a groove 24 engaged with an edge part of window glass. A reinforcement resin forming part 25 containing a fibrous reinforcement and/or a powdery reinforcement using a thermoplastic resin as a main component is formed along a longitudinal direction in the main body part, and the reinforcement resin forming part is constituted to have a linear expansion coefficient lower than that in a portion formed mainly of the elastomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
