The tread has a tread pattern formed by elements in a relief defined by a set of grooves of longitudinal and transverse general orientation. The tread pattern comprises a central part (C) axially defined by two grooves of longitudinal orientation. The longitudinal grooves define ribs (4b, 4c) provided with a set of transverse grooves (5b, 5c) of a depth equal to a depth (G) of main grooves (2b, 2c) of the longitudinal grooves. The transverse grooves are inclined relative to an axial direction at an angle at most equal to specific degrees. |
