APPARATUS FOR ELECTRONIC PAYMENT IN A VEHICLE BASED ON RFID/USN TECHNOLOGY AND ITS METHOD

A device and a method for providing a vehicle-only electronic payment based on an RFID are provided to enable a driver to safely and conveniently make payment in a shop without getting off a vehicle by providing an RFID/USN-based vehicle-only electronic payment device. An external communicator(124) performs the electronic payment for an RFID-based telematics service by communicating with a service server(130). An RFID/USN sensor part(121) requests and receives a telematics service certificate from a telematics key(110). A controller(123) obtains the telematics service certificate through the RFID/USN sensor part according to an electronic payment request of the service server. The controller receives an approval for the telematics service by transmitting approval information to the service server after authenticating a user based on the telematics service certificate. A user I/O(Input/Output) part(122) displays the electronic payment information for the telematics service to a screen and receives certification information for certifying the user.
