A lens device and an imaging apparatus are provided to minimize the diameter of a lens barrel by efficiently arranging an image stabilizer in the lens barrel. A lens device includes an image stabilizer(300) and a lens barrel(3). The image stabilizer includes a lens conservation maintaining frame, a first driving unit, a second driving unit. The image stabilizer is mounted in the lens barrel. The lens device displaces an optical axis of a correction lens(15) conservatively maintained in the image stabilizer from the center of the lens barrel and the lens device is arranged in such a way that a thrust direction generated by a first driving unit and a second driving unit is inclined at an angle of 45 degrees with respective to a line connecting an optical axis of the correction lens to the center of the lens barrel.
