A method and an apparatus for aggregation transmission of a downlink data packet in a wireless LAN environment are provided to improve efficiency of a wireless network by flexibly controlling the number of aggregation-transmitted VoIP terminals according to the final end-to-end transmission delay. A terminal information obtaining unit(100) collects the number of mobile terminals connected to an AP(Access Point). An aggregation transmission frame number determining unit(110) determines the number of frames for aggregating data packets to be transmitted to the mobile terminals based on the collected number of mobile terminals. A transmission unit(140) aggregates the data packets based on the determined number of frames, transmits the aggregated data to the mobile terminals, and receives transmission result messages from the mobile terminals.
