The present invention provides catalyst component for ethylene polymerization, preparation process thereof, catalyst containing the same, and ethylene polymerization method using said catalyst. Said catalyst component contain magnesium complex supported on inorganic oxide support, reaction product of at least one titanium compounds, at least one organic alcohol compounds and at least one organoaluminum, said magnesium complex is obtained by dissolving magnesium halide in system having organic epoxy compounds and organic phosphorus compounds. Inventive catalyst is especially suitable for slurry polymerization process of ethylene, polymer obtained has uniform particle diameter, narrow particle diameter distribution, and catalyst has high catalytic activity and good hydrogen response.
