A USB storage device equipped with an I/O connector and a rechargeable battery is provided to transfer data to a portable device without an additional data cable and charge the rechargeable battery of the portable device by including the I/O connector and the rechargeable battery, and connecting to the portable device through the I/O connector. The I/O connector(300) is formed to one side of a housing as one body and is equipped with a plurality of pins performing direct data communication by connecting to a data connector of the portable device. A data communicator(430) includes a data communication program for processing and storing a data signal transceived through the I/O connector to a memory. A data controller(420) determines connection between a USB connector(200) and a PC, and between the I/O connector and the portable device through a resistance difference of the USB connector and the I/O connector A power processor comprises the rechargeable battery(500) charged by a power signal received through the USB connector.
