A starting apparatus for a vehicle is provided to decrease the contact resistance by increasing the contact area between first and second terminals and a conductive body. A starting apparatus includes a housing(10), a first terminal(20), a second terminal(30), a plunger(40), and a conductive body(50). The first terminal is mounted to one side of the housing. One end of the first terminal is electrically connected to a battery of a vehicle. A first boss(21) is formed at the other end of the first terminal. The second terminal is mounted to one side of the housing. One end of the second terminal is electrically connected to the battery of the vehicle. A second boss(31) is formed at the other end of the second terminal. The plunger is mounted into the housing. A slider lifted by the start on operation of a user is mounted to the plunger. The conductive body is mounted to the slider and selectively makes contact with the first and second terminals to enable a start by electrically connecting the first and second terminals. A third boss inserted into the first and second bosses is provided in the conductive body.
