A chair with a swingable backboard is provided to allow a user to get a simple exercise for the waist, like waist twisting, in the state that he/she leans backward, when he/she has a pain in the waist during the work at the desk. The chair with a swingable backboard comprises a semi-reversal bearing, which is arranged in a waist portion of the backboard, so that the backboard is rotated right and left at an angle of 60 degrees in the state that it is laid down backward, and so that a user gets a simple exercise for the waist on the chair.
