A chair with a swingable backboard is provided to allow a user to get a simple exercise for the waist, like waist twisting, in the state that he/she leans and lies on the backboard which is completely laid down backward, when he/she has a pain in the waist during the work at the desk. The chair having a swingable backboard is configured in such a manner that the gradient of the backboard and the center of the chair itself are regulated by using a sliding motion of a seat, and comprises a semi-reversal bearing which is arranged in a waist portion of the backboard so that the backboard is rotated right and left at an angle of 60 degrees by means of its own bearing in the state that it is laid down backward, and also that a user gets a simple exercise for the waist on the chair.
