The device has a conduit section (2) delimiting an axial air passage connecting an air inlet (9) and an air outlet (10), where the conduit section communicates with a detent chamber by an opening. The detent chamber assigns a general parallelepiped shape that is delimited by longitudinal walls and transversal walls at the conduit section, where the chamber is configured for attenuating a noise. The longitudinal walls emerge on the conduit section and extend orthogonally on a part of the length between the longitudinal walls.
