SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING POSTAL DEVICES USING RFID

A system and a method for managing postal devices using an RFID technology are provided to monitor/manage a large number of data generated from postal business and the postal devices by using the RFID technology, and safely exchange a message among the postal devices by using a JMS(Java Message Service) in the postal business using the RFID technology. Each application manager(120) receives/manages information by connecting to the postal devices(130,140) and generates/transmits a JMS message by converting the message received from the postal devices into a JMS form. Each middleware(150) receives/manages the information by connecting to RFID readers(160) and generates/transmits the JMS message by converting the message received from the RFID readers into the JMS form. A JMS server(110) relays the JMS message between the application managers and the middleware. The middleware transmits the JMS message to the RFID reader by analyzing the JMS message received from the application manager, receives result information returned from the RFID reader, and generates/transmits the JMS message including the result information to the application manager.
