An umbrella is provided to form coupling recesses consecutively on the circumference of an ascending/descending pipe and make support ribs inserted into the coupling recesses closely to prevent the umbrella from being unfolded. On outer circumference of an ascending/descending pipe(30), coupling recesses are formed consecutively. Guide walls are formed consecutively between the coupling recesses. The holes punched on lower parts of support ribs(13) are coupled with hinges(22) to be inserted into ring shape steel wires that are tied to enclose the lower parts of the guide wall. When the umbrella is folded, the lower parts of the support ribs(13) are folded in a direction of upper parts thereof to be inserted into and fixed on the coupling recesses. |
