SCREEN STRUCTURE FOR REAR PROJECTION-TYPE AND MULTI-DISPLAY APPARATUS FOR REAR PROJECTION-TYPE USING THE SAME

A rear projection screen structure and a rear projection type multi-display apparatus using the screen structure are provided to construct a screen by using polyhedron structures in a perfectly spherical shape in order to constitute 3-dimensional images to completely cover the view of an observer. A rear projection screen structure includes a screen in the form of one of a cube, truncated icosahedron, deltoidal hexecontahedron, and pentagonal hexecontahedron. A rear projection type multi-display apparatus includes a plurality of rear projection screens and a plurality of projectors(1). The rear projection screens are constructed in a 3-dimensional spherical structure to completely cover the view of an observer. The projectors project images to the backsides of the rear projection screens.
