A mobile terminal is provided to enhance user convenience by driving a processor for watching a broadcast by drawing out an antenna without additional operation. An image display unit is provided at one side of a housing(110). A processor(120) is provided within the housing(110), receives an image signal from the exterior and outputs it to the image display unit. An antenna(130) is drawn out of the housing. A sensor(140) senses whether the antenna is drawn out or not. A controller(150) receives information on whether the antenna has been drawn out or not from the sensor and drives the processor.
