A grasping assistant device is provided to enable a worker to grasp an article with little power and to prevent the hands from being wounded by the edges of the article. The grasping assistant device(10) for letting a worker grasp and transport articles(4) having an edge(4c) in which a first surface(4a) and a second surface are contacted to each other is composed of a first plate(12) for supporting the first surface adjacent to the edge of the article; a second plate(14) extended from one end of the first plate to prop up the second surface adjacent to the edge of the article; a band(16) of which both ends are connected to both lateral sides of the first plate to enable a worker to put the grasping assistant device on a worker's hand; and an anti-slip unit(20) attached on one of the inner sides of the first and second plates contacting to the first and second surfaces of the article so as to prevent a slip.
