A MICROORGANISM OF CORYNEBACTERIUM GENUS COMPRISING AN ENHANCED EXPRESSION OF FUMARASE GENE PRODUCING 5'-INOSINIC ACID IN HIGH PRODUCTIVITY AND A METHOD OF PRODUCING 5'-INOSINIC ACID USING THE SAME

A microorganism of Corynebacterium genus having an enhanced expression of a fumarase gene and producing 5-inosinic acid in high productivity and a method for producing the 5-inosinic acid by using the same microorganism are provided to improve productivity of 5-inosinic acid compared to a mother strain by increasing cell growth rate through overexpression of the fumarase gene. The microorganism of Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJFUM101(KCCM-10689P) having the enhanced expression of fumarase gene and producing 5-inosinic acid in high productivity is provided, wherein the expression enhancement of fumarase gene results in cell growth rate increase of the Corynebacterium genus; the Corynebacterium CJFUM101(KCCM-10689P) is produced by transforming a mother strain with a vector containing the fumarase gene, p117-FUM; and the mother strain is Corynebacterium ammoniagenes ATCC 6872, Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJIP009(KCCM-10226), Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJHK25(KCCM-10520) or Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJHB100(KCCM-10330). The 5-inosinic acid is produced by culturing Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJFUM101(KCCM-10689P) in a culture medium.
