PREPARATION METHOD OF POLYMERS CONTAINING QUADRUPLE HYDROGEN BONDING

A method for preparing a polymer having a quadruple hydrogen bond is provided to improve the mechanical strength of a polymer and to reduce a manufacturing cost and a manufacturing time. The method comprises the steps of dissolving a polymer containing an epoxy group in a solvent; adding a precursor to the obtained polymer solution and reacting it at a temperature of 60-150 deg.C for 6-24 hours to prepare a polymer having a quadruple hydrogen bond; separating the unreacted precursor from the polymer having a quadruple hydrogen bond; and evaporating the remaining solvent at a temperature of 20-100 deg.C for 24-48 hours to dry the polymer having a quadruple hydrogen bond. Preferably the precursor is cytosine or its derivative, or guanine.
