The clamp is designed to hold a lamp on a pole to illuminate an area. Clamps can be made to suit different sized poles. The clamp, which is attached to the body of the lamp consists of a U bolt (42) which enclosed a frame in which is a slot slightly greater in width that the post. The base of the slot is V shaped and the post fits into the open end of the V. A bar with two holes in it is then placed over the ends of the U bolt which are threaded. Nuts and washers are then fitted and the nuts are tightened up so that the bar forces the pole against the notice thus anchoring the lamp. |
