PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording body with which excellent smoothness of a recording layer, ink absorbing capacity, printing density, and high quality recorded images can be obtained. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording body having at least two or more recording layers, a support 3 is coated with a coating liquid for a recording layer 1, after a recording layer 1 (1) is half dried which is then coated with a coating liquid for a recording layer 2 (2) and dried. Or, a recording layer 1 is provided on a forming face which is half dried, then a recording layer 2 is provided on the recording layer 1 and dried, the surface of the recording layer is attached with pressure to the support, transferred to the support, and the forming face is peeled off. |
