LAMP ASSEMBLY AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING THE SAME

A lamp assembly and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) using the same are provided to prevent a movement of a lamp by using a coupling portion coupling the lamp to a lamp support member. A lamp is placed at the rear of a liquid crystal panel, and includes a lamp main body and electrodes(513) provided at both ends of the lamp main body. A lamp support member supports the lamp. A coupling portion couples the lamp to the lamp support member, and includes a coupling protrusion(515) or a coupling groove(525) provided at the electrode, and a coupling groove or a coupling protrusion provided at the lamp support member corresponding to the coupling protrusion and the coupling groove of the electrode.
