CRACK ARRESTING UNIT OF BRIDGE JOINT SLAB JOINTPAVEMENT

A crack prevention system for a pavement of an approach on a bridge is provided to regulate cracks in a pavement caused by vehicle load by installing an L-shaped steel plate on an approach between an approach abutment and an approach slab and coupling with a crack prevention plate. The crack prevention system for a pavement of an approach on a bridge is formed by installing an L-shaped steel plate(300) on the boundary between a bridge and earth volume to make one end buried under an approach(140) between an approach abutment(120) and an approach slab(100) and the other end fixed on the upper surface of the approach, and coupling a crack prevention plate(200) on the upper part of the installed L-shaped steel plate.
