A snap ring structure of a steering column for a vehicle is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost and to improve the productivity by easily machining an upper shaft with a reduced number of parts. In a snap ring structure of a steering column for a vehicle, a lower jacket(13) and an upper jacket(11) are overlapped. A steering shaft including a lower shaft(17) and an upper shaft(15) is rotated in the space formed by the lower and upper jackets. A snap ring is provided to fix the position of the steering shaft and to support the rotation of the steering shaft. One side surface of the snap ring is molded with rubber or a separate molding section is provided in the snap ring to assemble the molding section in the snap ring.
