A plasma display panel is provided to form an impurity gas path in a vacuum exhaust process by using a barrier rib having a first to third openings. A second substrate(320) is arranged opposite to a first substrate(310). An electrode is disposed between the first and second substrates in order to induce discharge. A barrier rib(380) includes a first and second barrier ribs which are disposed between the first and second substrates in order to form a lattice structure and to define discharge spaces. Red, green, and blue phosphor layers are formed in discharge spaces. The barrier rib includes openings formed at a part thereof so that the discharge space having the red phosphor layer is larger than the discharge space having the green phosphor layer and the discharge space having the green phosphor layer is larger than the discharge space having the blue phosphor layer.
