Wiring for a touch panel is provided to reduce a wiring area of the touch panel, offer a narrower edge than the touch panel using previous wiring technologies, and form a conductive material on a glass substrate. The glass substrate(3) includes a transparent conductive layer on an upper surface. A plurality of wires(30) are placed along the edge of the glass substrate. An FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit)(4) is extended over one side of the transparent conductive layer and the glass substrate placed on the wire, and is electrically connected to a control circuit on the circuit board of the touch panel. The plurality of conductive ends(34) are respectively formed on the transparent conductive layer between each wire and the FPC. An extension conductor(36) is placed on the wire of the transparent conductive layer not close to the FPC. The extension conductor is extended to a place close to the FPC and is electrically connected to one of the conductive ends.
