An electric stand with a compact humidifier is provided to eliminate an electromagnetic wave and reduce fatigue of user's eyes through both functions of a fluorescent lamp and a glow lamp. A lamp(11) is mounted on a housing(7), and is a glow lamp having a glass tube(13). Both ends of a filament(17) are connected to connectors(15a,15b) disposed at both ends of the glass tube, and the filament extends along the glass tube. The glass tube is coated by phosphor material. A compact humidifier is mounted on the base. A filter housing is built in a water tank of the humidifier. A first filter is disposed in the filter housing, and a filter core is mounted on a center of the filter housing.
