摘要 <p>An apparatus and a method for calculating a location of a wireless transmitter using a time difference of arrival and multi-frequency are provided to remove phase ambiguity of distance measured from phase differences by using both phase differences of plural wireless receiving base stations that receive a multi-frequency signal from a wireless transmitter and a TDOA(Time Difference Of Arrival). Wireless receiving base stations(RS1-RS3)(320) receive multi-frequency signals(f1,f2) transmitted from a wireless originator(TS)(310), detect phase differences and time of arrival, and output them. A location calculating server(330) receives the phase differences and the time of arrival from the respective wireless receiving base stations(RS1-RS3)(320), calculates a converted distance from the phase differences, and calculates location of the wireless transmitter(TS)(310) by removing a phase ambiguity of the converted distance by using the time of arrival.</p>
