An apparatus and a method for aggregating devices are provided to reduce a burden of an application program by being independent in changing/exchanging a lower physical device. A method for aggregating devices includes the steps of: defining an aggregation device through a profile providing device constitution and connection information; generating the aggregation device by loading and grouping the devices in an operating system in a kernel mode according to the profile; and setting connection for the generated aggregation devices, receiving a control command from an application program, and performing a test and management of the device condition.
