The first zone is permanently polarised in the thickness direction, and has excitation electrodes on opposite sides of the plate. One or several further zones can be polarised and have electrodes on opposite sides of the plate for writing-in or rewriting of signals. Material polarisation between output electrodes can be changed by temporarily applied electric field. At least one additional zone (16) is provided on the plate (2), whose polarisation is longitudinal (19). It has additionale electrodes (17, 18) at a distance from excitation electrodes (6, 8), several times the plate (2) thickness, so that an h.v. transformation is produced between electrodes (17, 18) and (6, 8) for a voltage generation, whose rectified value is sufficient for setting a polarisation.
