COLOR-FILTER SUBSTRATE, LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING THE SAME

A color filter substrate, and LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel including the same, and an LCD are provided to improve color reproductivity of a reflective mode and a transmissive mode by controlling a degree of color purity according to voltage control. A base substrate(101) includes a plurality of pixel regions. A first common electrode layer(110) is formed on the base substrate and receives a first voltage. A second common electrode layer(130) faces the first common electrode layer, and receives a second voltage. A color filter layer is interposed between the first and second common electrode layers, and includes a plurality of electrochromic patterns corresponding to the pixel regions, and controls a degree of color purity according to the first and second voltages. The color filter layer is changed to a color with a relatively high degree in a first mode in which first light passes through, and is changed to a relatively low purity degree in a second mode in which second light passes through.
