CONTENT MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR STREAMING SERVICE

A content management method for a streaming service is provided to realize the smooth streaming service by considering the number of streaming services and redirection, and facilitate management, such as deletion of contents, by preventing collision between the streaming service and a content management task while reducing complexity of a content management database. A content management table for storing and managing user content request information is generated and initialized(S200). If a content request is received from a user, a scheduler selects a streaming server having the requested contents(S204). Whether the contents and the streaming server are to be redirected or not, and the number of streaming services are recorded to the content management table. The content management is performed according to the redirection and the number of streaming services. The redirection is determined whether the scheduler redirects the request to the streaming servers.
