The invention relates to a hydrolysis-stable polyester film comprising a polyester, whose thickness is preferably in the range from 0.4 to 500 mum. The film comprises polyester and at least one hydrolysis stabilizer and is distinguished by its low hydrolysis rate. The invention furthermore relates to a process for the production of the film and its use.
