A method and an apparatus for improving the strength of the old corrugated cardboard are provided to enhance the strength of the paper materials without largely changing the length of the fiber. The old corrugated cardboard is crushed below the constant size and mixed into water so that the paper materials are formed. The paper materials are concentrated with the predetermined concentration. The concentrated paper materials are hit by rotation during predetermined hours so that the hardened fiber is expanded and modified. At the paper concentration process, the paper materials are concentrated by 18 to 22%. At the modification process, the diameter of a rotation hit blade is 500mm and the hit is performed at the condition of the rotation speed of 500rpm and for 10 to 20 minutes or during the treatment length of 10 to 20m. |
