A flat panel display device, an apparatus and a method for controlling image quality thereof are provided to improve image quality by using electrical compensation data to compensate for mura. First compensation data for compensating a mura region, which is estimated through a first inspection process on a display panel, and second compensation data for compensating the boundary between the mura region and non-mura region, which is estimated through a second inspection process on the display panel, are stored on a memory(S1~S4). Data to be supplied to the mura region, is modulated by using the first compensation data(S5). Data to be supplied to the boundary is modulated by using the second compensation data(S6). Data, which is modulated to the second compensation data, is displayed on the display panel(S7). |
