SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING MOBILE BROADCASTING ROAMING SERVICE

A mobile broadcasting service system and a method thereof are provided to offer a broadcasting roaming service to a mobile communication terminal which is operating in a foreign roaming mode, thus a user can watch domestic broadcasting programs in real time overseas by using the terminal. A subscription authenticator(31) authenticates whether a mobile communication terminal subscribes for a service through a home mobile communication network, as a request for broadcasting contents is received from the terminal operating in a foreign roaming mode. A channel allocator(32) receives selection for desired broadcasting contents for reproduction from the terminal whose authentication is successful, and allocates a channel for sending the selected broadcasting contents. A broadcasting contents transmitter(33) transmits the corresponding broadcasting contents read from a broadcasting contents server to the terminal through the allocated mobile broadcasting channel.
