An electrically driven brake apparatus for a vehicle is provided to properly operate a reduction gear by preventing the repulsive force generated in a screw from being transferred to the reduction gear. An electrically driven brake apparatus for a vehicle includes an electric motor section, a first planetary gear assembly, a second planetary gear assembly, and a brake section. The electric motor section generates power. The first planetary gear assembly is connected to the electric motor section to reduce the power of the electric motor section. The second planetary gear assembly is connected to the first planetary gear assembly to reduce the power of the first planetary gear assembly. The brake section is connected to the second planetary gear assembly to move a forward/rearward nut forward and rearward by using the power of the second planetary gear assembly. The brake section passes through a central portion of the electric motor section and the first and second planetary gear assemblies. The electric motor section includes a stator(71) and a rotor(73).
