A method for producing an alternative solid fuel, which is environmentally friendly and economical by utilizing food waste, waste paper, etc. causing environmental pollution problems, and a method for producing an alternative solid fuel that can be conveniently used by operators without generating odor or bacteria, and has a high heating value such that the alternative solid fuel is suitably used as alternative fuel for lump coal and coke are provided. A method for producing an alternative solid fuel or a recarburizer comprises the steps of: (a) mixing 80 to 99 wt.% of food waste with 1 to 20 wt.% of activated carbon to prepare a food waste mixture; (b) mixing 2 to 35 wt.% of waste paper with 65 to 98 wt.% of water to prepare an acicular fibrous material; (c) mixing 20 to 80 wt.% of the food waste mixture of the step(a) with 20 to 80 wt.% of the acicular fibrous material of the step(b) to form a binder; and (d) mixing 5 to 50 wt.% of the binder with 50 to 95 wt.% of coal powder or carbon. The method further comprises the step of mixing 70 to 97 wt.% of the binder of the step(c) with 3 to 30 wt.% of waste oil or waste oil scum. The binder of the step(c) or the binder additionally mixed with the waste oil has a moisture content of 15 to 95 wt.%. |
