A method and a system for providing a data broadcasting service of home shopping broadcasting by using an ARS are provided to enable a customer inexperienced in a remote controller to conveniently issue an order by enabling the customer to input order information through the ARS, as the customer is directly connected to a home shopping call center system if the customer inputs a phone number to an ARS guide popup window. An ARS server(112) provides a speech guide message by automatically dialing the phone number based on customer list information. A database server(114) stores customer information and the information related to operation of a call center. A call center management server(118) manages business of the call center. A data broadcasting server(102) provides various home shopping broadcasting programs to a customer terminal(100). If a products information screen is provided to the customer terminal, the ordering screen is selected, and the phone number of the customer is inputted to the ARS guide popup window, the customer inputs order/payment information according to the ARS guide by connecting to the home shopping call center system(110) through an outbound call. |
